The Golden State Warriors have assigned forward Gui Santos to the team’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, it was announced today.
In 19 NBA G League games (all starts) with Santa Cruz this season, Santos is averaging 14.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 28.4 minutes per game. He has appeared in five games with Golden State, averaging 3.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per game.
The Santa Cruz Warriors host the South Bay Lakers this Saturday at Kaiser Permanente Arena, tip-off is a 7:00 p.m. (PST).
