WARRIORS DRAFT DAY OPTIONS
The Warriors have several draft-day options. They can draft an eligible prospect with the 19th pick, trade the pick, or trade for an additional one. If they choose to trade, the Dubs can acquire another pick (either higher or lower) and/or potentially receive other players or future draft picks. Check out our Mock Draft Roundup article to see who draft experts believe the Warriors will select should the Dubs keep the 19th selection.

Golden State Warriors Receive 2022 NBA Championship Rings

The Warriors have been able to foster continuity throughout their championship season by building through the draft.

"One thing that's great about this organization and all organizations that achieve greatness is that they have great continuity," Warriors Co-Executive Chairman and CEO Joe Lacob said. "If you look at Miami, who is in the Finals, great continuity over many years. Same thing with this organization. We have three players that have been here other than Udonis Haslem, the three longest-tenured players in the league (Draymond Green is tied for third with Portland’s Damian Lillard and Washington’s Bradley Beal)."

NOTABLE PLAYERS DRAFTED 19TH
Notable active players selected with the 19th-overall pick include Saddiq Bey (2020), Kevin Huerter (2018), John Collins (2017), Malik Beasley (2016) and Tobias Harris (2011). The most recent All-Star selected 19th overall was Jeff Teague, drafted in 2009 and made his lone All-Star appearance in the 2014-15 season with the Atlanta Hawks (the same team that drafted him).
