POOLE STARTS COOKING
Jordan Poole made all three of his shot attempts during a 10-point first quarter, and he kept it going with 15 of his game-high 43 points coming in the second period. Poole had 25 points at the break, marking his second straight game with at least 20 points in a half. Poole scored in multiple ways, knocking down shots from the perimeter, attacking the basket, making mid-range floaters and going 10-for-11 on free throws.

Poole’s previous career-high was 38 points, but he surpassed that with 8:30 left in the fourth quarter when he knocked down a 3-pointer from the right wing. Poole has now scored at least 20 points in eight of nine games this month, and he’s shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of the last two.

FIRST QUARTER SPLASH PARTY
The game started out with a whole lot of splash. Toronto’s Pascal Siakam made 3-pointers on Toronto’s first two possessions, and that would normally signify a problem for the Dubs. But on this day, the Dubs answered splash with more splash. Draymond Green answered each of Siakam’s 3-pointers with treys of his own, and the Dubs’ do-it-all forward added one more shortly after to make him 3-for-3 from deep, on the team's first three possessions no less.

Treymond

Green and Siakam’s splash battle spearheaded the hot starts both teams had offensively. The Warriors made seven of their first eight shots, while the Raptors were 7-for-9 to start the game, but Toronto cooled down first as Green scored 13 of the Warriors’ first 22 points, and they took a 36-26 lead into the second quarter.

JAMYCHAL PROVIDES A LIFT OFF THE BENCH
The Warriors shot 18-for-39 on 3-pointers in this game, and JaMychal Green made two of those treys. Green matched his season-high with 15 points, reaching that figure for the second time in three games. The reserve big man shot 5-for-7 from the field, and was in the right place at the right time to finish multiple possessions with two-handed slams.
