Starting in place of Draymond Green (league suspension), Jonathan Kuminga scored a team-high 21 points in the Warriors' 128-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Chris Paul hit a season-high four 3-pointers and Kevon Looney recorded his first double-double of the season (13 points, 11 rebounds) in the contest. A significant advantage the Warriors had was outscoring the Thunder 27-6 (+21) on second-chance points. WARRIORS BENCH OUTSCORED FOR FIRST TIME THIS SEASON
On Thursday, the Warriors second unit was outscored for the first time all season (51-44). Before Thursday's game, the Warriors reserves tied the second-longest streak in franchise history with 12 consecutive games of outscoring the opposing bench. The Dubs' bench ranks fourth in the league in bench scoring, averaging 42.7 points per game. The Warriors and Thunder's bench are tied for second in the league in net rating (3.2).
Missing two starters — Stephen Curry (left knee soreness) and Draymond Green (league suspension), the Dubs inserted Chris Paul and Jonathan Kuminga into the starting lineup on Thursday. And after beginning the season coming off the bench, stretch big Dario Saric has started the last two games. Gary Payton II, a key contributor off the bench, was injured early in the second quarter of Thursday's contest and didn't return. The Warriors have utilized their depth a lot so far this season and, given the circumstances, will need to continue to do so.

OKLAHOMA CITY SCOUTING REPORT
The Thunder hit a season-high 19 3-pointers and became the first team to outscore the Warriors' bench this season (51-44) in their 128-109 win over the Dubs on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the game with 24 points, but the Warriors held him to just 6-for-21 shooting. Reserve guard Isaiah Joe was ultra-efficient and gave the Thunder a significant spark, scoring 23 points and hitting all seven of his shots from behind the arc.
