The 2022 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors received their 2021-22 NBA Championship rings during a special pregame ceremony tonight, October 18, during Champions Ring Night, presented by Chase Freedom. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, along with Warriors co-executive chairmen Joe Lacob and Peter Guber, presented last season’s players with diamond-clad rings crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills.

Golden State Warriors Receive 2022 NBA Championship Rings

The rings feature approximately 16 carats of yellow and white diamonds set into yellow gold to represent the team’s 16 wins during the 2022 NBA Playoffs, marking the first time a Championship ring has been made up primarily of yellow diamonds. Seven carats of yellow cushion cut diamonds on the bezel represent the team’s seven championships, while 43 baguettes in the bridge represent Stephen Curry’s 43-point performance in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

A secret compartment on the top of the ring unveils the trophies won by each individual player, which is only accessible through a lever designed within the architectural features of Chase Center, the Warriors’ home arena, depicted on the side of the ring. Additional features on the sides of the ring include seven Championship trophies to represent the franchise’s seven NBA Championships, the team’s “Just Us” mantra, and more.

Making of the 2022 Championship Ring

Next month, the Warriors Community Foundation and Chase will launch a Championship Ring Sweepstakes, offering Warriors fans a chance to win an authentic 2021-22 NBA Championship ring. Proceeds from all donations to the sweepstakes will benefit the Warriors Community Foundation, which has generated over $30 million in impact since 2012 to support educational equity in the Bay Area. No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win. Additionally, Chase will match up to $50,000 in donations to the Warriors Community Foundation from this sweepstakes. Fans interested in participating in the Championship Ring Sweepstakes can do so by visiting warriors.com/ringsweepstakes.

Fans can purchase 2021-22 NBA Championship jewelry, including rings, pendants and cufflinks that feature elements of the players’ custom rings designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, at shop.warriors.com.

The Warriors won the franchise's seventh NBA title following a 103-90 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals at TD Garden on June 16. This marked the team’s first championship since moving to Chase Center prior to the 2019-20 NBA season.
