Draymond Green had the hot hand early, hitting three of his four 3-point attempts in the first six minutes of the game. That set the tone for the entire game, as the Warriors showed tremendous marksmanship from the perimeter from start to finish. Golden Stat shot 13-for-28 on 3-pointers, getting four treys apiece from Green and Stephen Curry.
Curry paced the Warriors with 22 points and seven assists, fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson put in 18 while Green finished with 16 points. The Warriors shot 50.6 percent from the field against a Memphis defense that ranked fourth in the NBA in defensive rating.

The hot shooting had the Warriors up by as many as 16 in the first half, and every time Memphis made a run to get back into the game, the Dubs had an answer. The Grizzlies whittled that first half deficit down to six before Curry made two straight 3-pointers in the second quarter to push that advantage back to nine going into halftime. The Dubs then took control of the game in the third quarter and maintained a double digit advantage the rest of the way.
With the win, the 21st straight at home, the Warriors take a 1-0 lead in the series with Game 2 set for Tuesday night at Oracle Arena.
