GAME LEADERS

Sometimes you live by the three, and other times you die by it. On Tuesday, the Warriors suffered the latter in a 113-111 overtime loss to the Bulls. The Dubs missed all 13 of their 3-point attempts in the second half, bringing an end to the team’s 19-game home winning streak.

The Warriors, who never trailed by more than two in just their second loss of the season, led for the majority of the game, but points were hard to come by as the game wore on. The Dubs were up by seven with five minutes left in regulation, but couldn’t make enough plays down the stretch to close it out. And after a Stephen Curry turnover in the backcourt led to a Kirk Hinrich 3-pointer that gave the Bulls a two-point lead with 15.8 seconds left, the Warriors never led again.

Draymond Green preserved the game momentarily with a putback that tied the game up with less than three seconds left, but the Bulls had the answer in overtime. The teams traded baskets with Chicago striking first, and Derrick Rose capped a 30-point, 11-turnover performance by netting a well-defended jumper from the top of the key with 8.4 seconds left.
