Timberwolves Announce Partnership with Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s Sire Spirits

Sire Spirits becomes “Official Spirit and Champagne Partner of the Timberwolves”

MINNEAPOLIS and ST. PAUL (March 27, 2023) The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced a multi-year partnership with Sire Spirits, naming the spirits company the “Official Spirit Partner of the Timberwolves” with its award-winning Branson Cognac, and the “Official Champagne of the Timberwolves” with their Le Chemin du Roi Champagne. Grammy and Emmy award-winning musician and New York Times best-selling author, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is behind the premium wine and spirits company.

The partnership grants exclusivity in the cognac and champagne categories and includes the following:

Community Clinics: In partnership with the Timberwolves & Lynx Basketball Academy, the G-Unity Foundation will host two community basketball clinics throughout the season. Clinics will be hosted at the Timberwolves practice facility at Mayo Clinic Square and will be led by team officials. Jackson’s nonprofit, G-Unity Foundation supports programming that fosters social and leadership skills in young people living in cities across the country.

Content Series: A special long-form content series will focus on uplifting stories of local minority-owned businesses who work with the team and their players. Stories will be distributed across the team’s social channels beginning with the 2023-24 Wolves season.  

Sire Spirits Bar: The spirits company will open a bar, inclusive of naming rights on the 200-Level for the 2023-24 season, offering their award-winning Branson cognac, Le Chemin du Roi Champagne, and specialty cocktails.

Sip & See: Sire Spirits will be the presenting sponsor of a “Sip & See” VIP pre-game happy hour for players’ wives, girlfriends and family members.

“We are excited to launch this partnership with Sire Spirits and to introduce Wolves fans to Sire’s award-winning cognac and champagne,” said Timberwolves and Lynx Chief Operating Officer Ryan Tanke. “Moreover, Curtis’ commitment through his G-Unity Foundation aligns with our community programming to not only grow the game of basketball, but cultivate and foster life skills for our local youth.”
