HOUSTON - After enduring a nightmare 10-day stretch, the Rockets were happy just to rediscover that winning feeling again. They were not satisfied, mind you. Not by a long shot. But after losing six straight games and seeing their playoff dreams placed on the precipice of oblivion, they knew that a win of any kind would be step one of their recovery process.

The Rockets got that much-needed victory Saturday night via a 99-96 triumph over the Golden State Warriors. No, it wasn抰 pretty. Houston flirted with disaster several times, failing to put away a Warriors team missing several of its best players and one without much in the way of real motivation to win. But with the game hanging in the balance in the final minute the Rockets made all the big plays, allowing them to break through, snap out of their slump and keep their postseason hopes alive in the process.

揑抦 glad we won,
