Today, the Utah Jazz announced a multi-year jersey patch partnership with LiveView Technologies (LVT), a Utah-built and -based national provider of innovative life safety and security technology. The LVT patch will appear on all Utah Jazz jerseys beginning with the upcoming 2023–24 NBA season.

Headquartered in American Fork, LVT was founded in 2005, and since 2019 has experienced hyper growth, averaging an annual recurring revenue (ARR) year over year growth of 120 percent and expanding its workforce by 450 percent. As part of its partnership with the Utah Jazz, LVT serves as the official jersey patch partner for Junior Jazz, the largest and longest-running youth basketball league in the NBA with more than 60,000 players across six states. During the upcoming season, the program is set to surpass two million total youth participants since its inception.&nbsp;

For the previous six seasons, Qualtrics had served as the Utah Jazz jersey patch sponsor and had donated its sponsorship of the patch to 5 For The Fight, the global campaign inviting everyone to donate $5 to the fight against cancer. On Tuesday, the nonprofit announced it had surpassed its initial goal of raising $50 million for cancer research. 5 For The Fight will continue to be an integral part of the Utah Jazz family by taking on a new, permanent presence at Delta Center in several different areas.&nbsp;

In a show of ongoing support, LVT has joined 5 For The Fight, giving LVT employees the ability to make ongoing donations. LVT is also donating 100 tickets to the Utah Jazz season opener against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, Oct. 25 to families battling cancer.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Utah Jazz Announce Utah-Based LVT as Jersey Patch Partner

For Ryan Smith, being the governor of the Utah Jazz comes with a responsibility that far exceeds bringing a championship to Utah. For Smith, being the steward of the franchise&nbsp;comes with the responsibility of providing the best fan experience imaginable and making the Jazz brand global — and, in doing so, representing the state in the best way possible.&nbsp;

However, Smith felt that responsibility before he became governor of the team.&nbsp;

In 2017, Qualtrics partnered with the Jazz for a patch on Utah’s jersey — but Smith, founder of Qualtrics, had other ideas. He donated the patch to 5 For The Fight, a Qualtrics-led nonprofit global campaign inviting everyone to donate $5 to the fight against cancer. 5 For The Fight became the first-ever cause-related jersey sponsorship in the history of North American professional sports and was prominently featured on Jazz jerseys for the past six seasons.

Earlier this week, 5 For The Fight announced that it had surpassed its&nbsp;initial goal of raising $50 million and now has its sights set on further growth and evolution, especially related to its partnership with the Jazz. Starting this season, 5 For The Fight will receive permanent placement in Delta Center with an interactive space on the concourse and representation within the arena bowl.

“With the help of Utah Jazz fans, partners, and the community, 5 For The Fight has crossed the $50M mark. With 5 For The Fight taking on a new role in partnership with the Jazz, Smith was in search of a new jersey patch partner.
