Jazz Recall Grant Jerrett from Idaho Stampede

SALT LAKE CITY (March 19, 2015) – The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has recalled forward Grant Jerrett from the NBA Development League’s Idaho Stampede, the Jazz’s exclusive D-League affiliate.  Jerrett was assigned to the Stampede on March 10.  He will re-join the team in Los Angeles prior to tonight’s game against the Lakers.

Jerrett (6-10, 232, Arizona) appeared in four games (all starts), for the Stampede, averaging 12.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.5 blocks in 33.8 minutes per contest.  Jerrett’s best statistical game came when he registered 27 points (11-16 FG, 5-7 3FG), 13 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a two-point loss to the Los Angeles D-Fenders on March 14.

The 6-10 forward has seen action in one game for the Jazz since being acquired from Oklahoma City as part of a three-team trade on Feb. 19.  He previously appeared in five games as a reserve for Oklahoma City, averaging 1.4 points in 5.0 minutes per contest.

Jerrett is one of three players to be assigned to the D-League under the new Jazz-Stampede single affiliation. Other players on the current Jazz roster with D-League experience include Ian Clark, Jack Cooley, Bryce Cotton, Jeremy Evans, Rudy Gobert, and Elijah Millsap.
