October 4, 2023 – The Charlotte Hornets today announced a partnership with Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar, under which Brixx will become a Proud Partner of the Charlotte Hornets and sell its pizza at Spectrum Center. As part of the agreement, Brixx will have a permanent concession stand on the arena’s Uptown Concourse outside section 203 and a portable stand outside section 108, with its pizza also being available at the Center City Grill location outside section 106.
“Brixx is a Charlotte staple, and we are pleased to welcome them to our family of Hornets partners,” said Hornets Sports & Entertainment President & Vice Chairman Fred Whitfield. “We look forward to having their delicious pizza available to our fans as one of the many great concession offerings at Spectrum Center.
As part of the partnership, a special buy-one-get-one-free promotion, the “Brixx Day After Double-Double,” will be available to fans the day after a Hornets player records a double-double in a game via the Brixx loyalty app. Brixx also receives the right to use team marks and logos, along with menu board branding, digital signage, in-game promotional features, appearances by Hugo the Hornet at local locations and mobile and radio promotions throughout the season.
