November 14, 2014 – Charlotte Hornets forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right foot. Kidd-Gilchrist, who underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) yesterday, will miss the remaining two games on the team’s road trip. He will be re-evaluated in Charlotte and a recovery timeline will be determined at that time.
In six games this season, Kidd-Gilchrist is averaging 9.8 points on .625 shooting from the field, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.3 minutes per game.
