BOSTON, MA – The Boston Celtics announced today that Celtics center Aron Baynes underwent successful surgery to repair a fracture of his left fourth metacarpal. The procedure was performed at New England Baptist Hospital by Dr. Hervey Kimball, assisted by Celtics team physician Dr. Anthony Schena.
Baynes is expected to return to play in 4-6 weeks.
