CSNNE To Carry First Round of C's Games
BURLINGTON, Mass., (April 27, 2012) -- The 2012 NBA Playoffs tip-off this weekend and Comcast SportsNet, home of the Boston Celtics, will be the exclusive “local” television destination in the New England market for live coverage of every Boston Celtics vs. Atlanta Hawks First Round matchup.
Comcast SportsNet’s coverage for Game 1 gets underway on Sunday, April 29th at 6 p.m. with a special Playoffs edition of Chevrolet SportsNet Central. Celtics Pre-Game Live presented by Ace Ticket airs at 6:30 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. game tip-off as the Celtics take on the Hawks. Dynamic duo Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn and courtside reporter Greg Dickerson will bring viewers the call for every first round telecast, while the entire Comcast SportsNet Celtics broadcast team will provide fans the best coverage throughout the series.
Thirty minute episodes of Celtics Pre-Game Live and one hour episodes of New England Ford Dealers Post-Game Live will be hosted by Gary Tanguay surrounding every matchup. Additionally, daily network programming will offer game previews and recaps, real-time updates and in-depth analysis. Former NBA forward Donny Marshall will provide in-studio analysis.
CSNNE.com, the online home to Comcast SportsNet, will provide 24/7 coverage of Celtics playoff action including daily game-day and off-day coverage from the entire CSN crew including Celtics Insider A.
