Sights and Sounds: 2023-24 Warriors Media Day

The Warriors officially tipped off their 2023-24 NBA season with Media Day on Monday.

The theme from this offseason that carried over into Media Day was the connectivity throughout the roster. In particular, the Dubs welcomed some new faces that have seemingly embraced the culture the team has established. The energy and "vibes" throughout the day were electric as the Dubs are excited and optimistic headed into the new season.

Read below for more sights and sounds from media day.

Headed into his 19th NBA season and first in the Bay, 12-time All-Star Chris Paul showed off his handles and new threads.

Rookies Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski opened their first NBA media day with a photoshoot.

Dario Šarić aka "Super Dario" took some portrait photos in his new threads. The 6'10 big man is reunited with his former teammate, Chris Paul, in the Bay.

Klay Thompson was given a large Warriors chain, which dangled around his neck as he danced to the music. The Warriors dance team then accompanied him as they hyped up Dubnation.

After re-signing with the Warriors this offseason, Draymond Green is pumped up for the opportunity to win another championship, which would be his fifth in 12 seasons with the Dubs.

After greeting each other with smiles, laughs and daps, Stephen Curry and Gary Payton II struck a pose. Payton II is back to wearing the number zero — a number he most recently wore with the Warriors on their 2021-22 championship team. Guard Donte DiVincenzo's departure to the New York Knicks in free agency allowed Payton II to return to a number that is "just him."

Legendary three-time Platinum artist and songwriter from Oakland, Mistah F.A.B., visited Chase Center rocking a bucket hat as he captured behind-the-scenes content with the players.

The two-time MVP participated in his 15th Warriors' Media Day and is ready to get his 15th season underway. He is the longest-tenured player on the roster and has the longest tenure of any active player on a single team.

The Warriors will officially begin practicing this week with their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
