Warriors Sign Free Agent Forward Marquese Chriss

Warriors 2019 Training Camp Roster Stands at 20

The Golden State Warriors have signed free agent forward Marquese Chriss (MAR-kee-SS Kriss) to a contract, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.

Chriss, 22, posted averages of 4.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game over 43 appearances (two starts) with the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2018-19 season. A three-year NBA veteran, Chriss owns career averages of 7.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per contest through 197 career games (126 starts) with Phoenix, Houston and Cleveland. Originally selected by the Kings with the eighth overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Chriss was named to the 2016-17 NBA All-Rookie Team as a member of the Phoenix Suns.
