For Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly, the 2023 NBA Draft is all about one thing — team culture.

Minnesota has the No. 53 pick in the draft, which will fall late in the late in the second round. But while the pick is near the end of the draft, Connelly is optimistic that the Wolves will be able to select a player that can seamlessly fit in with the rest of the roster.

"We'll prioritize a guy that can further add to the culture," Connelly told reporters on Wednesday.

"I think the focus for us is going to be, culturally, a guy that we don’t have to hold his hands, we don’t have to beg him to work, that can hit the ground running in terms of fitting in, not necessarily helping us on the court.”

With the 2023 NBA Draft happening on Thursday, here's everything you need from a Timberwolves' standpoint heading into draft night.

What pick do Timberwolves have in the 2023 NBA Draft?

The Wolves only have one pick in the 2023 NBA Draft — No. 53 overall in the second round.

"Draft time is always exciting," Connelly said. "We have the 53rd pick, fingers crossed we can find a good young player that can add to a core we're pretty excited about."

Taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the 2023 NBA Draft will air live on ABC and ESPN starting at 7 PM (CT) on Thursday, June 22. ABC will only air the first round while ESPN will broadcast the entire draft.

Minnesota's No. 53 pick will be in the second round. There is no set time for when the second round will start.

What draft prospects have the Timberwolves worked out?

Hosting two different draft workouts, the Wolves worked out the following prospects:

"We were lucky enough to get some really talented guys in here," Connelly said about the team's draft workouts. "[We got] to know them as people a little bit, show them the city and see how competitive they are."
