In matchup of the two top teams in the West, the Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in an NBA In-Season Tournament game on Tuesday.

The Wolves are coming of a 119-97 victory over the Grizzlies in Memphis on Sunday. A top defensive team in the league, Minnesota is 12-4 and 7-1 at home this season.

How to watch and listen to Wolves vs. Thunder

Taking place at Target Center, Wolves vs. Thunder will air on Bally Sports North at 7 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Play-by-play announcer Michael Grady and color analyst Jim Peterson will be calling the game for Bally Sports North.

You can also listen to Alan Horton, the radio voice of the Timberwolves,  call the game on iHeartRadio's Timberwolves channel and the Timberwolves app. The Timberwolves' radio broadcast will start 15 minutes before tip.

Trailing the Kings in the West C group, the Wolves are 2-1 in the In-Season Tournament.

Can the Wolves advance to the Knockout Rounds?

The Wolves have a slim chance of becoming the West Wildcard team and advancing to the quarterfinals of the Knockout Rounds.

The Wolves will be wearing their lake life-themed City Edition uniforms against the Kings. Oklahoma City will be in their white Association Edition uniforms.

With a record of 11-5, the Thunder are at the top of the Western Conference standings and are 6-1 on the road this season. The Thunder's last game was on Saturday, a 127-123 home loss to the Sixers.

Led by 2023 All-NBA First Team guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and rookie sensation Chet Holmgren, the Thunder lead the league in three-point percentage (40.5 percent), are second in field goal percentage (49.7 percent) and fourth overall in points per game (119.6). The Thunder have the sixth best offense (117.9 offensive rating) and seventh best defense (109.6 defensive rating).

Minneapolis/St. Paul – Minnesota Timberwolves Forward Karl-Anthony Towns, in partnership with Hy-Vee, announced today details about KAT’s Community Coat Drive.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Beginning, Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 15, fans can bring new or gently used winter coats to any Timberwolves home game, or drop-off items at any metro Hy-Vee location (13 Twin Cities locations). All sizes accepted, including children, youth, and adult.&nbsp;

“Living in Minnesota, winter coats are an essential item for everyone,” said Towns. “I’m so proud of this annual coat drive and look forward to partnering with Hy-Vee for another year of helping out those in the Minnesota community, especially our youth, with proper winter wear.”&nbsp;&nbsp;

All donated coats from KAT’s Community Coat Drive will be delivered to YouthLink in early January. YouthLink is located in downtown Minneapolis and works with homeless youth, ages 16-24 years old across the Twin Cities.&nbsp;&nbsp;

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Anthony Edwards scored 24 points, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mike Conley each had 18 and the Minnesota Timberwolves routed the Memphis Grizzlies 119-97 on Sunday.

Rudy Gobert added 13 points to help the Timberwolves win for the fourth time in the last five games. Conley added a season-high 10 assists and was 6 of 9 from 3-point range.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis with 18 points, while Santi Aldama finished with 14. Desmond Bane scored 13 points, but was 5 of 16 from the field as Memphis lost its fourth straight dropped to 0-8 at home.

The Timberwolves sit atop the Western Conference standings, while Memphis was struggling to stay out of the conference cellar, trying to maintain any competitiveness as it deals with injuries and the 25-game suspension of Ja Morant.

The Timberwolves were dominant in the first half as Minnesota was still shooting 60% from the field overall and 6 of 10 from outside the arc midway through the second quarter. With Memphis shooting under 40%, including 2 of 19 from 3-point range, the Timberwolves’ lead reached 20 before they carried 60-43 into the break.

Minnesota continued to maintain the advantage in the third quarter, eventually stretching it to 90-66 after three quarters. And that came with Towns and Gobert playing limited minutes in the period with foul troubles.

Memphis cut it to 102-90 midway through the third, but the Timberwolves rattled off eight straight points, including 3-pointers from Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to end any hopes of a Memphis comeback.

An all-new annual competition, this is the first year the NBA is holding an In-Season Tournament. All 30 teams are playing in the In-Season Tournament, which started on Nov. 3.

The In-Season Tournament starts with the group stage, which features designated Tournament games on Tuesdays and Fridays in November.

Each team in a group will play each other once. The teams with the best record in their group and two conference wildcard teams will advance to the quarterfinals of the Knockout Rounds.

Wildcard teams will be 1 West team and 1 East team that did not win its group but have the next best record and biggest point differential in their conference.

Group stage games and the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Knockout Rounds, count as regular season games.

The championship of the In-Season Tournament is the only game in the entire tournament that is an extra game and won't count as a regular season game.

Each team will host two group stage games on their home court. Quarterfinal games will be held at the higher seed's home court.

The semifinals and championship are the only games that will be held at a neutral site in Las Vegas.

What do teams and players win? Are there In-Season Tournament awards?

The winning In-Season Tournament team will win the NBA Cup, an all-new trophy.

Players could win the In-Season Tournament MVP and could be named to the All-Tournament team.

Players will also win money based on their team's performance in the In-Season Tournament:

If two teams have the same record in the group stage of the In-Season Tournament, tiebreakers will decide which team will advance to the quarterfinals.
