Playoff Roundup | Duncan's Last Game?

It wasn’t supposed to end like this for Tim Duncan.

The Spurs were supposed to win the title and Duncan would go out a champion.

That's not going to happen anymore after the Thunder dominated the Spurs last night, advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

Big Timmy hasn’t made an announcement yet regarding his future, but it seems like it would be a surprise if he returned for another season.

We thought the Thunder could give the Spurs some trouble, but not real trouble. Billy Donovan was fantastic, though, and the one-two punch of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant proved too much for the Spurs.

The two combined for 65 points last night.

Duncan, a team-orientated guy, had his best game of the playoffs last night, finishing with 19 points and five rebounds.

If it is the end for Duncan, we’ll remember his five titles and professionalism. This game will be embedded in our minds for a little bit, but eventually it will wash away. Still, it’s pretty sad to think about now.

The Thunder will move on to play the Golden State Warriors. With Durant and Westbrook, you’d think the Thunder can win at least two games in the series, but maybe, just maybe, they can force a Game 7. After that, who knows?

That series will tip off on Monday.

The Heat host the Raptors tonight in a win-or-go home game for Pat Riley’s crew.
