Wolves Unveil Summer League Roster

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team's 2013 NBA Summer League roster and camp information. The Wolves will open their three-game preliminary round Summer League schedule on Saturday, July 13 vs. the NBA D-League Select team at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The Timberwolves Summer League roster features 2013 first round draft picks Shabazz Muhammad (14th overall) and Gorgui Dieng (21st overall). Wolves forward Chris Johnson will also be on the team. Player development coaches David Adelman and Shawn Respert will be responsible for coaching the Wolves' summer league entry.
Before heading to Las Vegas the team will have practices at the Life Time Fitness Training Center at Target Center, beginning Wednesday, July 10 and ending Friday, July 12. The final 15 minutes of the afternoon practices (3:00 - 4:30 p.m.) will be open to media. Players and coaches will be available following those workouts.
This summer’s event will feature the debut of a tournament style schedule that will crown the first ever NBA Summer League Champion on Monday, July 22. Teams will compete in three preliminary round games from July 12-16 before being seeded in a tournament running through the Championship Game on July 22. Each team is guaranteed to play at least five games.
