Editor’s Note: Vice President of Fan Experience Jeff Munneke is a beloved member of the Timberwolves family, and as an employee of the team since the inaugural 1989-90 season, he has a lot of on and off the court knowledge about the team. That ranges from top halftime acts and coolest players all the way to season ticket eating venues and most memorable games. With perhaps an ode to the entertainment business, there are a large number of Twolves and Lynx staff members that dive into pop culture conversations during the week. There may not be a more discussed TV show right now among staff than HBO's True Detective. Every Monday morning there is a highly entertaining "Breakdown of film" centered around the office in trying to figure "Whodunit.”
True Detective is sliding up the charts of my personal favorites, but I also wanted to give a nod to the retiring of the old and tired "Mount Rushmore of (Insert category)” and go with First and Second team All NBA in TV shows:
