Wolves coach Rick Adelman has coached the All-Star Game three different times in his career, the first being in 1991 at the Charlotte Coliseum. He's pictured here talking to Terry Porter and John Stockton, among other players, on the sideline during the 1991 All-Star Game. He also coached the Western Conference during the 2001 and 2003 All-Star Games.

This week we travel back to one of the Wolves' most celebrated pre-KG era draft picks, Christian Laettner. A two-time NCAA champion at Duke and a member of the 1992 Dream Team, Laettner played 3 1/2 seasons with the Wolves and averaged at least 16.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in each of those campaigns. (Notice a young Latrell Sprewell [No. 15] in the background)

This week we go back to 1996 at Orlando Arena, where Brian Shaw and Terry Porter fought for a loose ball during a game on Nov. 21. Flash forward to 2013, and Porter has twice been a head coach in the league and is currently a top assistant for the Wolves. Shaw just received his first head coaching opportunity with the Denver Nuggets this offseason.

First Days In Minnesota
Kevin Love autographs 300 basketballs after being introduced to the media on June 27, 2008 at Target Center. Love was initially drafted No. 5 overall by the Memphis Grizzlies but traded to the Wolves on Draft night. He went on to make back-to-back All-Star appearances in 2011 and 2012.

Early West Coast Trip
This week's photo focuses on a young Pooh Richardson guarding Byron Scott during a 1990 road trip to the Great Western Forum to face the Los Angeles Lakers. Richardson was the Wolves' first ever draft pick (10th overall in 1989) and played his first three years in Minnesota. He averaged 17.1 points and 9.0 assists per game in 1991.

Back To The Beginning
As we wrap up a season in which Wolves coach Rick Adelman earned his 1,000th win, let's go back to 1989 and the inaugural Wolves season with Minnesota's first coach, Bill Musselman. This photo was taken at Madison Square Garden during the season in which Adelman, then with Portland, made his first trip to the NBA Finals. Musselman coached the Wolves for their first two seasons.

Current Wolves assistant coach Jack Sikma collected 7,729 boards during his time with the Sonics from 1978-86. The closest active player on the list is Nick Collison, who is sixth with 3,896 rebounds in his Sonics/Thunder career.
