Preseason Profile | Isaiah Miles

Isaiah Miles and Philadelphia have history -- after spending four years at Saint Joseph’s and then playing abroad, Miles is excited to re-immerse himself in the City of Brotherly Love.

Miles played two rounds of Summer League with the team before joining the squad this summer.

Here’s more on the 6-foot-8 Baltimore native…

What to Watch For

Miles considers himself a strong shooter, but is looking to expand his repertoire as preseason continues.

Miles has played in Summer League competition every year since his graduation in 2016, but has yet to make a regular season roster.

During his time at Saint Joseph’s, Miles improved steadily before a breakout senior season in which he averaged 18.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game.

Playing with CSP Limonges in France last season, Miles averaged 9.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, shooting 41.4% from deep. Miles earned EuroCup Week 4 MVP honors last season as well.

Through training camp and into preseason with the Sixers, Miles will play alongside many of his role models, who he hopes can show him the path forward.

Miles got some run in against Orlando Sunday night, grabbing a rebound in his four minutes of play and finishing his outing at +8.

As preseason continues, Miles has the chance to capture more such opportunities, in the same city where his career took flight.

Off the Court

Away from the hardwood, Miles is inspired by superheroes -- particularly those from the Marvel universe -- who inspire both his game and personality.
