Injury Report: Three Pelicans starters questionable for Thursday game at Cleveland

A total of seven Pels are questionable or out vs. Cavs

Zion Williamson was uncertain to play in Tuesday’s home game vs. Memphis due to a non-Covid illness, but ended up starting against the Grizzlies. Unfortunately for the two-time NBA All-Star forward, Williamson is back on Wednesday’s official injury report, again questionable with a non-Covid illness. He’s joined by two other Pelicans starters with the exact same status – Herb Jones and Jonas Valanciunas are questionable to play at Cleveland on Thursday (6:30 p.m., Bally Sports, 99.5 FM) due to non-Covid illnesses. A fourth New Orleans player, backup center Cody Zeller, is questionable with a right ankle sprain.

Three other Pelicans players are listed as out, including Kira Lewis Jr. (G League on-assignment), Larry Nance Jr. (right rib fracture) and Matt Ryan (right elbow surgery).
