We've worked closely with local & state officials, Ochsner Health and ASM Global to develop a comprehensive health and safety plan, which is outlined below. Please read this page in its entirety to ensure you're ready for game day.
MOBILE PARKING AND TICKETS
The Pelicans are now 100% mobile tickets and parking passes.
Prior to entering a parking garage or the arena, you’ll need to present your parking pass or tickets on your mobile phone, using either the Pelicans app or the SeatGeek app. For a step-by-step guide to managing your tickets, please visit our Mobile Ticketing 101 page.
CASHLESS CONCESSIONS AND MERCHANDISE
The Smoothie King Center is a cashless operation including all concessions, merchandise, and parking. Cash will not be accepted as a form of payment at any parking, retail, or concession locations within the Smoothie King Center. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Android Pay along with contactless EMV are acceptable forms of payment inside the Smoothie King Center.
Guests may convert their cash to a Visa Card by at the following Guest Service locations throughout the Arena:
- 100 Level: Section 104
- 300 Level: Section 304
Visa Cards are sold in $25 and $50 denominations and can be used at ANY POS location in the building including merchandise. Any remaining balance on the debit card can be used at locations where debit payments are accepted.
DOOR OPENINGS & ENTRANCE TIMES
Early doors open 1.5 hours prior to tip-off for premium season ticket holders, including club, suite, and floor level seating patrons. Regular doors open 1 hours prior to tip-off for all patrons. We encourage all guests to arrive early to ensure you get to your seat before tip-off.
SMOKE FREE FACILITY
The Smoothie King Center is a smoke free facility.

MERCHANDISE UPDATES
Fanatics retail locations will be available on all levels of the Smoothie King Center as a cashless operation.
BAG POLICY
Any bag, purse, backpack, or briefcase that is larger than 14" x 14" x 6" will not be allowed into the Smoothie King Center. This policy will be strictly enforced, and the Smoothie King Center is unable to store oversized or prohibited items. An exception will be made for declared medically necessary items, after proper inspection. Per NBA guidelines, all bags will be subject to the screening process through the X-ray machines. The use of X-ray machines will be a contactless step that takes the place of manual bag searches. There will be dedicated entry lines for bags and no bags at each entrance to assist with our entry process.
- Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Cinch bags
- Oversized luggage
- Coolers
PRE-GAME HAPPY HOURS
Throughout the season, join us at our Pelicans Happy Hour on select dates. The event will take place outside of the Smoothie King Center (on Dave Dixon Drive) and will start 90 minutes before tip-off. No tickets are required to attend the outdoor event, so bring your friends! Pregame festivities include:
- A variety of concessions, live music, lawn games
- An appearance from Pierre the Pelican and Pelicans Entertainment Team
- More surprises to come
CHEVRON BIKE ZONE
New this season, the Saints and Chevron are offering FREE, convenient, and protected bike parking across the street from Champions Square in Parking Lot 3 on Dave Dixon Drive. Plan your route by taking a look at the protected bike lanes throughout the city: https://neworlns.co/NOLABikeLanes
THE WAREHOUSE
New to the Smoothie King Center this season is The Warehouse. This new event space is perfect for corporate retreats or celebrating special occasions. LEVEL UP GAMING LOUNGE
The new X-Rocker Gaming Lounge is located on the 300 level across from Section 304. It features PC and console gaming experiences accommodating up to 14 gamers simultaneously and will be open during the regular season.
FAN HEALTH PROMISE
All ticketholders must agree that neither they, nor any of their guests, will attend the game if they have tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days prior to the game, or any of the following is true on the game date:
- Within the prior 10 days, they have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or are subject to a federal or local travel or quarantine advisory due to COVID-19;
- Within the prior 48 hours, they have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., fever of 100.4⁰F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking, muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms identified by the CDC) (anyone who is fully vaccinated but experiences any of the above symptoms within 48 hours before the game should nevertheless consult a healthcare provider and get tested for COVID-19 before attending).
