New Orleans (32-22) wraps up the pre-All-Star break portion of its schedule Wednesday at 7 p.m., hosting Washington (9-44) on Valentine's Day. Tickets are available here.

The Pelicans finished 3-1 on their Mardi Gras road trip. In case you missed it, they posted a second straight low-scoring victory Monday at Memphis.

The Warriors, who are on a five-game winning streak, host the Clippers on Wednesday, then visit Utah on Thursday on the league’s final day prior to the midseason hiatus. New Orleans is in sixth place in the West, needing a win tonight vs. Washington to ensure that it will remain in the top six during the All-Star break. Dallas (31-23) is one game behind in seventh, hosting San Antonio at 7:30 p.m. The Mavericks hold the temporary tiebreaker over the Pels based on division record (7-5). The next step would be conference record (NOLA is 23-18 with 11 West games remaining; Dallas is 19-18).
