On a day that saw Oklahoma City deal for 10-time All-Star Carmelo Anthony, another Thunder transaction nearly took place. This one would have addressed OKC’s backcourt, which appeared on the verge of adding former lottery pick Trey Burke according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
Instead, the four-year pro reportedly changed his mind on Saturday.
Update: Burke has changed course on deal with OKC and will remain a free agent, league sources say. https://t.co/O6CYwtHU9A
