Chris Duarte scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 97-64 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in the MGM Resorts Summer League on Thursday at Thomas and Mack Center.

The contest got out to a competitive start as the Pacers led 21-20 after one quarter. They carried the momentum into the second and pushed their lead to 10 early in the quarter before the Blazers cut it to seven by halftime. The game took a turn in the third as the Pacers outscored the Trail Blazers 27-7 in the frame to make it a 27-point deficit heading into the final quarter. The Trail Blazers managed to find the basket again the fourth, but they were still outscored by six in the period, as the Pacers put an exclamation point on the blowout win.

The Pacers had five more players score in double digits in addition to Duarte, including Devin Robinson, who totaled 10 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two assists, and Cassius Stanley, who added 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Antonio Blakeney led the way for the Trail Blazers with 15 points on 6-for-11 shooting off the bench. Greg Brown III was the only other player to score in double digits for the Blazers, with 12 points, seven rebounds and two steals.

The Pacers’ next game is Saturday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Blazers also play Saturday, facing off against the Phoenix Suns.
