Kings Waive Eric Mika and Isaiah Pineiro

The Sacramento Kings announced today that the team has waived center Eric Mika and forward Isaiah Pineiro.

Mika made one appearance in preseason action, totaling four points and six rebounds in four minutes of play. Mika was also a part of Sacramento’s California Classic and MGM Resorts NBA Summer League rosters as he averaged 8.3 points (8-21 FG, 9-15 FT), 9.3 rebounds and 19.3 minutes per game in three appearances at the California Classic. In five contests in Las Vegas, Mika averaged 9.2 points (.621 FG%, 10-16 FT), 7.0 rebounds and 17.0 minutes per game for the Kings.

Pineiro, who also played in one preseason game, was a member of Sacramento’s 2019 Summer League rosters during both the 2019 California Classic Summer League and MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2019. Pineiro accrued averages of 4.0 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 3pt, 0-1 FT), 1.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 7.4 minutes per game in three appearances at the California Classic. In five outings in Las Vegas, Pineiro averaged 4.6 points (.471 FG%, 0-2 3pt, 7-7 FT), 2.8 rebounds and 14.0 minutes per game for the Kings
