NBA In-Season Tournament
30 Teams Compete. 8 Advance. 1 is Crowned Champion.

The NBA In-Season Tournament is a new annual competition for all 30 teams that will debut in the 2023-24 season. The 15 teams in each conference were divided into three groups of five teams via a random drawing. The Kings are part of West Group C alongside the Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.

The Kings will play one game against each opponent in its group, two at Golden 1 Center and two on the road. All games played during the In-Season Tournament, except for the Championship game, will count towards the regular season standings. The winning team takes home a new trophy, the NBA Cup!

FAQs for Kings Season Ticket Members

Games will be played in NBA team markets except the Semifinals and Championship, both of which will be played in Las Vegas at a neutral site.

Every team will still play an 82-game regular season. All In-Season Tournament games will count toward the regular-season standings except the Championship, which will sit outside the regular season.

Every team will play two regular-season games (including the In-Season Tournament Quarterfinals and Semifinals for qualifying teams) during the week of Dec. 4. The 22 teams that do not qualify for the Knockout Rounds will play two regular-season games during In-Season Tournament off nights that week (Dec. 6 and 8). The four teams that lose in the Quarterfinals will play a regular-season game on Dec. 8.

Your full-season membership price includes all 3 expected home games tied to the In-Season Tournament. If the Kings receive a 4th home game tied to the In-Season Tournament, this will bring the total number of regular season Kings home games to 42. In the event that happens, we will reach out to you with more details on how to secure tickets for that game.

These games will be announced after the Group Play stage concludes on Nov. 28.
