Legacy Partnership Projects represent at least 10-year, strategic business relationships with a shared commitment to the community, further reflecting Kings Owner and Chairman Vivek Ranadivé’s “NBA 3.0” philosophy, which calls for using basketball as a positive agent of change in the community.

Kaiser Permanente Community Courts

Kaiser Permanente Community Courts

The Sacramento Kings Foundation, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, are proud partners in various court renovations throughout the Sacramento region. Basketball court equipment is updated at open access community parks, with the aim of creating inclusive spaces that encourage more people to get involved in their community through the game of basketball.

Build. Black. Coalition Partnership

In the wake of the death of Stephon Clark, the Sacramento Kings formed a multi-year partnership with the Build. Black. Coalition in an unprecedented effort to fundamentally transform black communities through deep investment in black youth in Sacramento. Build. Black. is spearheaded by a group of Sacramento-based community leaders, nonprofits, youth advocates and faith leaders committed to more equitable communities.
