Shortly after opening night, the Celtics face two NBA MVPs at home in the span of just one week. Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder make their only appearance at TD Garden this year on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Two days later, the team will host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the first of two showdowns in Boston this season on Friday, November 14, 2014.
Boston welcomes the 2014 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs to town on Sunday, November 30, 2014. Celtics faithful also won’t have to wait long to see Paul Pierce make his TD Garden debut as a member of the Wizards, as the team takes on Washington at home on Sunday, December 7, 2014.
Fans can extend their holiday celebrations to include Celtics home games this year with 1:00PM matinee contests against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 28, 2014, and the Brooklyn Nets the day after Christmas, Friday, December 26, 2014.
With 12 Friday night games including showdowns with Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers on December 5, 2014, Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks on December 12, 2014, and rookie Jabari Parker and the Milwaukee Bucks on April 3, 2015, weeknight games played primarily on Mondays and Wednesdays, and an additional four Sunday afternoon games, there is a matchup on the schedule for every type of Celtics fan, whether attending with family and friends or colleagues and clients.
