The San Antonio Spurs today announced their 2014-15 training camp roster.
The Spurs current roster stands at 19 players, and includes the additions of forward Josh Davis and guard John Holland.
Davis (6-8, 215) spent last season at San Diego State University, starting all 34 games in helping the Aztecs to the Sweet 16 while averaging 7.7 points and 10.7 rebounds in 30.6 minutes. This summer he played in the 2014 NBA Las Vegas Summer League with the Charlotte Hornets, averaging 8.9 points and 10.1 rebounds in 25.6 minutes over the course of seven games.
Holland (6-5, 205) has spent the past three seasons playing overseas after going undrafted in 2011. The former Boston University standout spent last season playing for the BCM Gravelines in the French Pro A League and Eurocup last season. Holland saw action in 23 Pro A League games, averaging 10.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 26.3 minutes. He also appeared in 13 Eurocup games, averaging
9.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 29.5 minutes.
