The San Antonio Spurs will travel to Berlin, Germany to face Alba Berlin on Wednesday, Oct. 8 to open their seven-game 2014 preseason schedule. In a rematch of last season’s NBA Finals, the Spurs will host the Miami Heat on Oct. 18 in their preseason home opener. The 2014-15 Spurs season is presented by H-E-B.
The Spurs preseason will begin overseas as part of the NBA Global Games schedule and includes a matchup against Fenerbahce Ulker in Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday, Oct. 11. The team will return to the states for a road game against the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 16 before facing the Heat on Oct. 18 at the AT&T Center. The Spurs will also host preseason games against the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks.
The Silver and Black conclude their preseason schedule on the road with a Texas showdown against the Houston Rockets on Friday, Oct. 24.
Preseason tickets will be available to purchase online at Spurs.com or ATTCenter.com beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (210) 225-TEAM or at the AT&T Center Southeast Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on weekend event days starting at Noon.
All preseason games will be aired live on WOAI-AM 1200 with Bill Schoening calling the action and preseason home games will be broadcast in Spanish on KCOR-AM 1300 with Paul Castro handling the play-by-play.
