Wednesday's Spurs Game Scores Highest TV Rating of Season on FOX Sports Southwest

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs scored their highest television rating of the season on FOX Sports Southwest Wednesday (April 2) while extending their franchise record winning streak to 19 games.

The 111-80 victory over the Golden State Warriors averaged a 10.98 household rating and was the No. 1 program of the day in San Antonio, according to Nielsen Media Research. It topped the Spurs’ previous season best rating on FOX Sports Southwest of 9.47 recorded on Nov. 20, 2013 vs. Boston.

Wednesday’s game was seen in an average of 99,500 San Antonio television homes and received its largest audience from 8:00-8:15 p.m. when it peaked with a 12.06 rating and 109,288 homes.

Spurs games on FOX Sports Southwest this season are averaging a 7.45 rating, a 15 percent increase over last season.
