New Orleans Pelicans vs Golden State Warriors Postgame Quotes | 11/21/22

Willie Green Postgame Interview | Pelicans vs. Warriors 11/21/22

Pelicans Head Coach Willie Green

On the depth off the bench:
“It’s extremely important if you want to go far, especially in the postseason. Having your second unit that can come in and execute this fearlessly. They played together, they play with joy, it makes all the difference in the world of how far your team can go.”

On Brandon Ingram's first 30-point game of the season:
“It was great, I thought he was fantastic all game. He played with force. When he decided to go, he went quickly. Those were things that we’ve talked about. It was just good to see him put together an all-around good game. Like I said, it’s hard to win in the NBA so anytime you can get a win, no matter who it is, is great for us.”

Brandon Ingram Postgame Interview | Pelicans vs. Warriors 11/21/22

Pelicans Forward Brandon Ingram

On having his first game this season with more than 30 points:
“I know how we take some of these games, and it was important for me to just get out and be aggressive early and lead by example. I tried to make sure the energy was really good on the basketball floor. Everybody else was ready. Herbert (Jones), Jonas (Valanciunas), Zion (Williamson), and CJ (McCollum) were ready. It made it easier for me to just step in to my shot and do whatever on the basketball floor.”

On having a much more decisive victory against the Warriors tonight:
“Everybody came in ready to play today. We were adding Zion (Williamson) back into the mix, and we were just trying to work on the execution a little bit on the offensive and defensive end. We made some shots, and we got some stops on the defensive end. That’s always easier for our offense when we can get stops, rebound, and push it on the break and find the easiest shot. That was what we did tonight.”

Pelicans Guard Devonte' Graham

On having such a great shooting night:
“It’s always good to see the ball go through the hoop. I was just being aggressive, looking for my shot and my teammates were looking for me. It was a fun night.”

On how it feels to have his team looking for him offensively:
“It feels good. I feel like we do a good job of having a feel when we see guys getting hot. If they hit a few shots, we want to go back to them. I think we do a good job of that normally. Lately, we’ve been moving the rock, so it has been looking good.”
