The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that Matt Ryan underwent a successful arthroscopy this morning to remove loose bodies from his right elbow. The surgery was performed by Dr. David Altchek at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York. His timetable for return to play is approximately 6-8 weeks.
