Anthony Davis remains sixth in West frontcourt All-Star vote

Two weeks after the initial All-Star voting returns were announced by the NBA on Christmas morning, the second set of results were announced Thursday. New Orleans power forward Anthony Davis remains in sixth place among Western Conference frontcourt players, the same standing he had on Dec. 25. The two-time All-Star has garnered a total of 261,491 votes, putting him behind Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Kawhi Leonard and Blake Griffin.

Keep in mind, the three players who receive the most votes among frontcourt candidates will earn an automatic trip to the Feb. 14 All-Star Game in Toronto and starting spot for the West. Through the most recent returns, Davis trails third-place Green by roughly 70,000 votes, not an insurmountable differential. Bryant appears to be a lock to be named a starter at 1.2 million votes, while Durant (616,096) has a significant lead on Green.

There are nine different ways for fans to vote daily online, through social media or via apps. You may vote up to 10 times per day. All details on how to vote are available here: https://www.nba.com/pelicans/allstar16
