#10 Evan Fournier

For the Magic to reach the playoffs for a third straight season, Fournier will once again have to be one of the league’s most efficient perimeter shooters. Last year, in addition to averaging a career-high 18.5 points per game, the seasoned veteran shot a scorching hot 51.6 percent on shots taken between 20 and 24 feet from the basket, best among players who attempted at least 100 shots from this range. A lineup featuring Fournier, Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony, Orlando’s 15th overall draft pick last month, will be an interesting one, assuming head coach Steve Clifford experiments with that combination somewhat regularly. All three are excellent pick-and-roll players, and are relentless at getting in the paint, which should create more space for Orlando’s top shooters to get open looks from 3-point distance.

Other shooting guards in the mix for this list included Fred VanVleet, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, DeVonte’ Graham, Buddy Hield, Victor Oladipo, Bogdan Bogdanovic, R.J. Barrett, Kelly Oubre Jr., Collin Sexton, Lou Williams, Duncan Robinson and Anthony Edwards.
