Keeping the health and safety of our fans and employees at the forefront of everything we do, we will be following guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as local officials, the NBA and experts from AdventHealth. Please read the following information carefully before attending an Orlando Magic event at Amway Center.

Bags are prohibited for Orlando Magic events at Amway Center.

  • Medical and parent bags are exceptions, but will be subject to X-ray at designated locations for entry to the Amway Center
  • Small clutches no larger than 4 inches x 6 inches x 1.5 inches are also allowed.

Face Coverings Encouraged For All Fans

We ask that all fans over the age of two, vaccinated or unvaccinated, wear a face covering at all times while in attendance, except when actively eating or drinking.

  • Per CDC guidelines, both individuals who are and are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are advised to wear a mask indoors in public.
  • Fans over the age of two seated in the front row of Courtside seats or within 15’ of player benches or scorer’s table are required to wear face coverings at all times, except when actively eating or drinking.
  • Bandanas, gaiters, face coverings with vents, and face coverings with only a single layer of fabric are not acceptable.

What We're Doing

GBAC Accreditation

  • Along with the help of long-time Orlando Magic partner Owen's Facility Services, Amway Center has received the Global Biorisk Advisory Council STAR Facility Accreditation, the gold standard of prepared facilities, for its commitment to outbreak prevention, response and recovery. The GBAC STAR affirms that the arena has established and maintained a cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention program to minimize risks, implemented proper cleaning protocols, techniques and practices to combat infectious diseases and extensively trained cleaning professionals for outbreak and infectious disease preparation and response.

Upgraded Technology

  • All air handling units (AHU) that supply the bowl, all dehumidification air units (DAU) and all primary units within the arena have been modified with UV lighting for the inactivation of bacterial organisms
  • UV lighting has been added in the mechanical pits underneath the arena's 12 escalators so handrails are exposed twice during each full rotation
  • Upgraded to Merv 13A air filters in compliance with NBA guidelines
  • Electrostatic sprayers are being utilized to disinfect rooms and surfaces within the arena
  • Portable PlexiGuard barriers will be positioned in key locations throughout the arena
  • Improved the air changes per hour (ACPH) rate to an average of 6.7, boosting clean air circulation

Courtside Seats and Rows 1-3 of Sections 104-107 require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test conducted on-site at Amway Center the day of the game.

Assumption of Risk

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Any interaction in any public place poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit. By entering the Amway Center, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Courtside & Ultimate Seats

  • Testing is required for all fans
    • Courtside and Ultimate seats will require fans to undergo and return a negative coronavirus test

    • Food and Beverage will not be permitted in Courtside and Ultimate seats while in the bowl

Health and Safety Compliance:

Compliance with health and safety rules is mandatory, and attendance is conditioned on such compliance. If a fan violates any health and safety rules, the fan may be denied entry to or ejected from the arena. Fans who violate the rules or otherwise engage in conduct that causes a risk to health and safety may also be subject to a ban.
