ORLANDO – The Orlando Magic have waived guard Jon Davis, center Isaac Humphries, guard/forward DaQuan Jeffries, guard/forward B.J. Johnson and forward Vic Law, President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman announced today.
Davis (6’3”, 200, 11/8/96) did not appear in any preseason games with Orlando. He was originally signed as a free agent on October 7.
Humphries (7’0”, 255, 1/5/98) played in three preseason outings with the Magic, averaging 1.3 ppg. in 4.7 minpg. He was originally signed as a free agent on September 24.
Jeffries (6’5”, 230, 8/30/97) appeared in five preseason contests with Orlando, averaging 0.8 rpg. in 5.5 minpg. He was originally signed as a free agent on July 30.
Johnson (6’7”, 200, 12/21/95) played in three preseason games with the Magic, averaging 3.3 ppg. and 1.0 rpg. in 5.8 minpg. He was originally signed as a free agent on September 27.
Law (6’7”, 200, 12/19/95) appeared in one preseason outing with Orlando, averaging 2.0 ppg., 2.0 rpg. and 1.0 apg. in 5.1 minpg. He was originally signed as a free agent on July 30.
Orlando’s roster now stands at 15 players, including two two-way contracts (Amile Jefferson, Josh Magette).
