Nov. 1 at Thunder

Wendell Carter Jr. matched his career high in scoring with 30 points while also grabbing 12 rebounds in Oklahoma City on Nov. 1. Ironically, the other time he posted 30 points was also against the Thunder on March 20 of last season.

Nov. 11 vs. Suns

Carter recorded one of his 14 double-doubles and one of his five 20-plus-point/10-plus-rebound games this season in a victory over the Suns at Amway Center. The 6-foot-10, 265-pounder finished with 20 points on 7-of-15 overall shooting, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Nov. 18 at Bulls

Carter has had several big games against his former team since getting traded to Orlando in March 2021. One such performance came in the Magic’s thrilling victory over the Bulls on Nov. 18 in which he tallied 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Jan. 10 at Blazers

One of Carter’s more efficient nights this season came in Portland on Jan. 10 when he posted 20 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range to go along with 10 rebounds in an Orlando victory. The Magic outscored the Blazers by 12 when he was on the court.

Jan. 23 vs. Celtics

The Magic beat the first-place Celtics three times this season, with the last of those wins coming at Amway Center on Jan. 23. Carter in that game scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. He also pulled down 11 rebounds and helped limit Al Horford to just six points on 2-of-8 shooting from the floor.

Feb. 9 vs. Nuggets

Carter has a history of playing well against the league’s other top centers. That includes Nikola Jokic. On Feb. 9, with Jokic and the Nuggets in town, Carter registered 19 points on 7-of-11 overall shooting and 2-of-3 3-point shooting in a Magic victory.

Feb. 14 at Raptors

Carter’s second-best scoring performance so far this season came in Toronto on Feb. 14 when he scored 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. He also dished out five assists – one shy of his season high and two short of his career high.

Feb. 23 vs. Pistons

Carter now has a game-winning shot on his professional resume after following up a Paolo Banchero missed driving layup with a putback dunk just before the buzzer in a thrilling victory over the Pistons at Amway Center. He finished with 14 points and a season-high 14 rebounds.
