ORLANDO -- There wasn’t much the Orlando Magic didn’t do well in Saturday’s 118-88 blowout victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at Kia Center.

They made 22 of their 44 attempts from 3-point range. It was just the second time this season they shot 50-plus percent from downtown with at least 40 attempts. It was also only the seventh time in franchise history they hit 20-plus threes.

Cole Anthony drilled five triples, while Wendell Carter Jr., Jalen Suggs, Caleb Houstan and Joe Ingles each knocked down three of them.

The Magic also held the Grizzlies to just 36 percent shooting from the field, the second lowest mark by an Orlando opponent this season.

The 88 points scored by Memphis, meanwhile, were the fourth fewest by a Magic opponent this year.

“We are top (three) for a reason (on defense),” Ingles said. “I think pretty consistently throughout the year we’ve kind of hung our hat on the defensive end. There have been a lot of low scoring games, and it is a credit to our defense.”

The rout started midway through the first quarter. The Magic, following a 30-4 run, went up 41-13 early in the second period.

Carter, Suggs and Anthony led seven Orlando players in double figures with 15 points apiece, while Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner each scored 13, Markelle Fultz had 12 and Ingles finished with 11.

“I think we’ve played some really good basketball,” Ingles said. “Last night (against the Clippers), we get hit with a Kawhi (Leonard) iso and a Paul George iso at the end of the game, which they’ve probably done a million times and we are getting used to those situations – the spacing and all that…Confident in our group that we will figure it out and we’ll keep getting better for these last eight (games) and whatever happens after that.”

Neither Gary Harris (right plantar fascia injury maintenance) nor Jonathan Isaac (right hamstring injury maintenance) played.

Jordan Goodwin led the injury-plagued Grizzlies with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Brandon Clarke scored 13 and GG Jackson and Scotty Pippen Jr. each had 11 points.

The Magic are now 15-0 against sub-.500 teams at Kia Center this season. They are one of four teams perfect against under .500 teams in their own building, with the others being the Celtics, Nuggets and Thunder.

Orlando will close out its eight-game homestand on Monday when it takes on the Portland Trail Blazers at 7 p.m.
