Coppercraft Distillery and the Orlando Magic Announce Multi-Year Sponsorship Agreement

Coppercraft Distillery and the Magic also unveil fan destination within Amway Center, the “Coppercraft Bourbon Bar,” and a special co-branded product release, 407 Bourbon

Holland, MI - Coppercraft Distillery and the Orlando Magic today announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement, becoming a “Proud Partner of the Orlando Magic.” The agreement ensures the Holland, Michigan-based distillery’s name and brand signage will be featured at multiple in-arena bar locations within Amway Center. Coppercraft and the Magic also celebrated the partnership with a special product release, 407 Bourbon, available in Central Florida.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Orlando Magic and Amway Center to provide basketball fans with high-quality, great-tasting spirits,” said Ali Anderson, National Brand Manager for CraftCo., a portfolio of award-winning craft brands that includes Coppercraft Distillery. “This partnership allows us to build our presence in Central Florida and the southern region and fits well with our robust, national growth strategy. It also further cements our status as a lifestyle brand for consumers who enjoy sports, recreation, and the outdoors.”

Fans in Central Florida will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of Coppercraft products at Amway Center. The in-arena bar location, the “Coppercraft Bourbon Bar,” will be operational during all Amway Center events. It also includes a special product launch, 407 Bourbon. This straight bourbon whiskey is named for the telephone area code of Central Florida. On the palate the bourbon has notes of cherry jam, vanilla bean, butterscotch, and marzipan. The nose complements the palate with oaky tobacco and leather. Only four hundred and seven bottles of 407 Bourbon are available at fine retailers in Central Florida.

“The Orlando Magic are thrilled to welcome Coppercraft to our partnership family,” said Magic Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships, J.T. McWalters. “We can’t wait for our fans to experience the Coppercraft brand inside Amway Center, along with the many more exciting opportunities for our fans to come as well.”

Coppercraft’s partnership with the Orlando Magic is its third major affiliation with a professional sports team. In April 2019, Coppercraft became a beverage sponsor of the Detroit Tigers with the debut of the Coppercraft Distillery Bar at Comerica Park. In August 2019, Coppercraft became an “Official Partner of the Detroit Lions” with six bar locations throughout Ford Field. The company was one of the first licensed distillers in the State of Michigan and has received numerous awards for the quality of its spirits. Most recently Coppercraft was awarded Gold for its Straight Bourbon Whiskey at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Coppercraft Rye Whiskey was also recognized at the 2022 New York World Wine & Spirits Competition with a Double Gold medal. The company currently operates tasting rooms in both Holland, MI, and Saugatuck, MI.
