1 / 12OrlandoMagic.com's Josh Cohen ranks the NBA's best point guards as of Dec. 9, 2016. Click through this gallery for full rankings. Honorable Mentions: Mike Conley – He was having a career year before his back injury. He is shooting a remarkable 46.7 percent from 3-point distance this season. Dennis Schroder – While he’s been erratic and inconsistent, Schroder is proving he deserves to be a full-time starting PG. D’Angelo Russell – He’s been out with a sore knee but the first few weeks tell us he is developing nicely. Emmanuel Mudiay – He’s dynamic and explosive but there are legitimate concerns about his decision making and perimeter shooting. George Hill – He’s only played in 11 games so far because of injuries but when he has been on the court he’s been sensational (averaging 20 points and shooting nearly 46 percent from 3-point range). Jeff Teague – He’s been super inconsistent. He’s had two 30-point performances and six games with less than 10 points. He’s really struggled from 3-point range. Elfrid Payton – He’s terrific around the basket (58 percent within five feet) and he keeps turnovers down. He’s still developing his outside shot. Goran Dragic – He’s shooting a career best from 3-point range and his assists are up. However, he’s not finishing at the basket as well as he used to. Eric Bledsoe - He's had a few spectacular performances (scored over 30 twice). But, he's also been very unpredictable.
