Vaughn once again reiterated that because the Magic’s margin for error is so small on the road that they have to play nearly flawless basketball from start to finish to have a chance. He said the flat start doomed Orlando’s chances on Wednesday.

``It’s just tough to do (to win with a poor start) because of the amount of energy and the amount of mental stress that you put on yourself to get back into the game,’’ Vaughn said. ``Then, when you get there you have to be able to handle that position as well. We fight uphill and get back to nearly even and then you have to face the challenge of getting stops and scoring as well.’’
