Aaron Gordon filled up the stat sheet against the Suns, compiling 29 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in a Magic win.

Elfrid Payton recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists against the Pistons for his seventh triple-double of his career. He had a franchise-high eight triple-doubles during his time with the Magic.

Vince Carter buried a game-tying 3-pointer with 9.9 seconds remaining for the Magic, however Josh Smith lifted the Hawks to the win with a winning dunk right before the buzzer. Orlando’s Dwight Howard pulled down 24 rebounds to go along with his 19 points.

Shaquille O’Neal posted 24 points and 16 rebounds and Penny Hardaway scored 22 as the Magic defeated the Bulls in Michael Jordan’s first home game after coming out of his first retirement.
