#7 Acquiring Gilbert Arenas, Hedo Turkoglu and Jason Richardson (December, 2010)
It’s what I like to call, “The Wash Trades.” And it means that the deals (separate trades though they happened on same day) had little to no impact on any of the teams involved. It was a “wash.” Arenas, Turk and J-Rich (and Earl Clark) were all relatively disappointing following the trade in Orlando, Rashard Lewis significantly declined and barely played in Washington and aside from Marcin Gortat having a couple of solid years in Phoenix, the Suns’ other additions, Vince Carter and Mickael Pietrus, were rather inconsequential in their brief stays in the desert.
