They can look so bad---and yet, they can look so darn good all within the same game.

Last week, the Magic allowed the Pistons to sprint out to a nine-point first quarter lead. Our team shot just 36% in the first quarter---40% for the half.

And yet, the Magic storm out of the locker room and go on a stunning 21-0 run to run away from Detroit. They also held the Pistons scoreless for the first 9:45 of the third.

Friday night vs. the Cavaliers, our Magic played keep away from themselves.

They turned the ball over a whopping 16 times in the first half and were lucky to be down by just six at the half.

Yet, the Magic go on a 13-2 surge keyed by Jameer Nelson’s 12 third-quarter points. In the fourth, Glen Davis tallied 10 of his 16 points, while Mr. Automatic, JJ Redick, coolly knocked down eight free throws in the final :21 to ice the win.

Oh by the way, the Magic turned it over just twice in the second half vs. Cleveland---0 turnovers in the fourth quarter.

As this team continues to come together, I think that’s what we are gonna get from the Magic, especially early in the season. We’re gonna get alotta bad and we’re gonna get alotta good all in the span of one game.

Speaking of the good-bad thing, the Magic headed into Sunday’s game with Boston 4-2 at Amway Center.

In six home games this season, our team is averaging 95 points on 47% shooting.

On the NBA-road, it’s a different story.

Those numbers shrink to 85 points on 40% from the field.

It’s no coincidence that the Magic are 1-5 away from home this early season.

Bottom line is this…We’re gonna see some good….We’re gonna see some bad.

Let’s hope for more of the former….
